Description: On January 13th 1992 on the last leg of my [Russ Brown] annual DC-10 check, YVR / YYZ / HNL / YVR, Capt. Sydney Quickfall ( MOT Inspector) was authorized to operate as captain HNL/YVR and was pleased and surprised when offered the chance at briefing in Honolulu. This was his last flight before retirement and I arranged with the caterers to supply a suitable party cake. Here being presented by F/A Laurrie Middler. Syd worked with both AC and CP and was brother to Alan (Speedy) Quickfall who was with A/C from 1945 to about 1980. (DC-10 #902, C-GCPD. HNL to YVR 13 JAN 92. CREW: Capt. Russ Brown Capt.
