PERRAULT, Jean, Denis- August 19, 2012

Jean died at Lakeshore General Hospital on August 19, 2012, at the age of 77.
Loving husband of Marion, father of David, Danielle, and Bruce, father in law of Anna, Dave and Diana,
and grandfather of Nicole, Julian, Angela, Ria, Henri and Erik.
Born in Sherbrooke, Jean obtained his commercial pilot's license in his late teens and gained commercial
flight experience in the mid 1950's working as a pilot supporting the development of the DEW line in Canada's north.
Joining Trans-Canada Air Lines in 1956, Jean enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a Captain and Flight Instructor
with Air Canada, where his good humour could always be counted on to lift the spirits of crew and passengers alike.

Jean was an adventurous soul and world traveller but his family and friends were at the centre of his life.
Whether golfing, skiing or scuba diving, his enthusiasm for an active life was infectious.
Fellow pilots could rely on his commitment to help drive the pilots' hockey team, but only Jean could claim the
biggest pilot-hockey prize of all: flying home the victorious Team Canada in 1972.
He was generous and fun-loving - for family and the many, many friends who had the pleasure to visit with him in
Richford, Vermont, Jean will be forever remembered as the world's greatest spaghetti chef and
the definition of a warm, big-hearted host.

After suffering a cardiac arrest in 1995, Jean's capacity to enjoy life was significantly diminished.
The family deeply appreciates our many friends for their concern and support over the past 17 years,
and expresses sincere gratitude to the staff at Place Legault fot their care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place, A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Edmund of Canterbury,
105 Beaconsfield Boulevard, Beaconsfield, Quebec on Saturday August 25. 2012 at 11:00 a.m..
Family will be on hand one hour before the service to meet with friends.
